In 2016 I started a challenge to post a photo every day – it was a leap year and so I named it 366photos2016. At the end of the year, I decided to continue as I had become used to choosing a photo each day to represent what had happened in my day.
In 2018, I found a new challenge – through a photography website called the Dogwood Challenge. There was a list of themes for each week of the year – it was a step up from just taking any photo that appealed to me. I have to intentionally think about my subject and also the features of the photo.
